South Lake Brewing Company operates the largest production craft brewery on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe

We brew all of our beers on-site at our original brewery location and offer a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere to experience with your friends, family, and even dogs!

We have 3 different spaces on-site to enjoy our beer: a large beer garden, front patio, and indoor tasting room. Our outdoor spaces feature picnic tables and chairlift seating making them the perfect spot for your après-ski session.

Our tap list is constantly rotating with up to 16 craft beers on tap in a variety of styles to satisfy any beer drinker. Food truck vendors are frequently on-site and you can catch free live music on Fridays and Saturdays.

We do not have a kitchen on-site but partner with food trucks and customers are always welcome to bring their own food in.

Seating is first-come, first-served. We do not accept reservations.

Beer production

Our production area comprises of a 10 barrel brewhouse, seven 20 barrel fermentation tanks, four 10 barrel fermentation tanks, and a canning line. Our brew system allows us to keep a full tap list at The Brewery and The Libation Lodge while distributing to bars and restaurants around town and outside of the Lake Tahoe basin.
